My Thoughts Are With Sri Lanka
Bombing and killing innocent people is not the solution. Religious bigotry: Enough.
Did Trump’s Idea to Make Gallaudet University Worship God?
Pastor Mark Ehrlichmann and its Jesus Camp
Once you join HEARD (Helping Educate to Advance the Rights of the Deaf), you need to praise Jesus first. Is that considered a religious oppression? Remember a documentary film called Jesus Camp that was made in 2006, it was so bad and offensive to their human rights. It was really awful. According to Mark Ehrlichmann, a pastor in God’s eyes, and president of HEARD who lives in Florida, he is also Deaf and a cochlear implant user because he thinks cochlear implants are God’s greatest answers.
A pastor is all about being in charge of a Christian church or congregation–as in Ephesians 4:11, Paul discusses various roles that Chris placed in the church. The expression “pastors and teachers” identifies a single group (Kent, Homer A. 1971. Ephesians: The Glory of the Church. Chicago, IL: Moody)
Pastor Mark Ehrlichmann runs a ministry focusing on incarcerated persons as well as returned citizens. It is just like Jesus Camp. When I first became interested in HEARD in 2013, a month later, he quickly wrote an e-mail to Talila Lewis known as TL, one of the three founders for HEARD, all of them are hearing, and asked her to e-mail me and join him for couple of days hoping that I would join Men’s Retreat in September 2013.
It was supposed to be in Pennsylvania, north of Cumberland, Maryland. He thought he had the power to control my life. Wrong. I had this funny feeling that time and I was happy that I declined his offer. I even told TL that I did not appreciate this.
Mark writes on August 19, 2013:
Then he writes on August 20, 2013:
“Simply pack and go.”—Are all about preaching and all? The worst thing is that pastors around the world preaches violence—anyone who preaches religion tends to be encouraging violence—yes, it’s true. People who do not practice religion are much less than encouraging violence. Everyone knows that religion has a dangerous tendency to promote violence. The Men’s Retreat does not solve everything instead of brainwashing you under Mark’s direction.
I have my own freedom of expression and my pursuit of happiness. I make my own decisions. I have my own faith. I do not need Christians to preach me or force me to go to Jesus camp.

Muslimophobia in Deaf Community
How to Challenge EPHPHATHA at Gallaudet University
David Call: Stop Taking Credit
I need to set the record straight. There are not honest people in Deaf community anymore—which is sad. Yes, I have been giving away too many “credit” to other people because I love Deaf community and believe in helping other Deaf people and that is who I am. I have been a scholar winning awards more than people can really think who I am despite that I am a Deaf returned citizen and they would not give me a credit—very lame. It is all about one sided salacious stories without showing both sides of the issue many times.
Have those people lost the ability to learn not to judge Deaf returning citizens while maintaining a culture of civility and respect? Incivility and disrespect seem to have only increased, threatening the very nature of democracy. In the most recent example of not giving me the credit that I was the one who wrote countless blogs and did a lot of homework on my own about EPHPHATHA—the seal on Gallaudet’s emblem.
I also need to set the record that the late Carl Schroeder asked me to do research about EPHPHATHA on my own and I thank him for believing in me. He was THE ONE who told me about it—how did it happen? Well, I was auditioning for Deafhood Monologues that time and saw a seal on the podium right there and took the picture and went home and did a lot of research—then that was where I became very motivated to write about it. The Deaf artist, David Call did not know anything about EPHPHATHA until I mentioned to him. I will be more than happy to take pictures of all the e-mails between me and David Call. No problem!
Then there was one of the first red flags that David Call refused to credit me—only Charles Katz—his ghostwriting buddy when he was the “one” who corrected the spelling of EPHPHATHA. It was all about himself. Then I had to straight it out with him and asked him why he was not telling the truth in the first place. The first picture below:
Then he “apologized”—which I had forgiven him with e-mail below then he made a linocut print about EPHPHATHA which I purchased it from him. On Oct 25, 2013, at 7:00 PM, davcall@aol.com wrote:
Hi,
I wasnt pay attention to what you were trying to tell me that the word was spelled wrong until another person, Charles Katz, in FB told me that it was spelled wrong. That is when I realized oh! that is what you was trying to tell me. Other person who told me about spelling error is also a scholar like you. I guess it takes two scholars to make me realize my spelling error! Both of you caught my spelling error before I carve the linocut. Thanks for saving me countless hours of wasted linocut carving!
DC
Also, I need to make it clear that I am tired of being the “BAD PERSON” here and get blamed for everything.
David Call made a linocut print for President Roberta “Bobbi” Cordano that showed EPHPHATHA in there with the ladder breaking into the floor and gave her a gift when she was in Bay area. Now the print is hanging in her office. Just WOW!!!!! He would not have done it without my countless knowledge. I feel very foolish than anything right now. I was shocked that night.

Gallaudet University: Which is Better Flag Bearer?
This video will discuss EPHPHATHA why it has been continue to practice religious bigotry to process Deaf people into hearing people and hegemonize linguistic and cultural behavior, and religion related to ‘deafness’.
The social change, language planning, politics, and why the administration is letting the religion myth affect the future of the Deaf community. After all, it is a false prophet with the flag bearer carrying the wrong message.

Life on The Wrong Side For the Drought of Deaf Community
Deaf Butterflies Falling Into Skulls—Forgotten People done by David Call.
What a special day! Woooooooooo!! It is September 11th! Yes, that’s right! “You must be crazy for thinking like that!” No, I am not talking about 9/11 in NYC–I am talking about 9/11 in 1880. Yes, Deaf people DO make good neighbors because they are ordinary people like you and me who suffered through Oralism have learned their struggles and the Milan Resolution of 1880 facts say much more than just that. Do not be manipulated by the fear hucksters as Milan Resolution says so. Get the facts for yourself.
I do not care about whether you have sympathy or not. What matters the most here is that hearing people who commits Audism be held accountable and after they have been successfully held accountable in society, do they have the right to be integrated back into society? That means these people need sensitive training, disable ignorance, and other societal needs met. They need an “I AM AUDIST” label where, like today, results in discrimination, stigmatization, shaming, un-employment, under-employment, homelessness, and general social exile are the norms that must be reversed against Deaf citizens today.
People are so reactionary on this stuff, the penalties are now almost as bad as “wiping them out”—yes, Audism is a terrible disease, but they are not the same as taking someone’s life. See my point? The Milan Resolution is a total mess as well. Audists who are caught and they do not land on Audism list—and all the Audists in the world are all lumped onto one list for lifetime humiliation.
Hearing people already known to Deaf person commit the vast majority of oppression against Deaf people. The continual focus on the Deaf-danger myth—thanks to Karl White, the potential threat to Deaf community. Oh, not just Karl White, but Theresa Bulger, Dimitry Dornan, and yes, the founder of Tucker Maxon Oral School, Paul Boley, my first school and many other Audists out there.
For the majority of Deaf community who suffered under the spell of Milan Resolution who have paid their debt to society should be reintegrated back into our communities WITHOUT the targeting that continually wounds them with shaming, stigmatization, unemployment, homelessness, and general social exile. As a liberal society, I believe in facts before myth, science before faith, and reason before assumption, and justice for all Deaf citizens—-not a justice for a few.
Milan Resolution used myth, faith, and assumption that Deaf people are dumb because they cannot hear sounds. The Milan Resolution who make a deal that Deaf people all MUST learn oralism on September 11th, 1880—is nothing more than the thousands of other propaganda mill rumors that promote fear as a mean to profit. Interested readers who desire to learn about Milan Resolution should investigate the following facts: Religion plays a major factor.
We need to repeal the Milan Resolution 1880 off the history books because it is the greatest legislative fraud that is based on false assumptions: The Oralism Success stories. We must as a humane society protect Deaf signing community from undue harsh response by Alexander Graham Bell Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and its ignorant rabble. Enlightened Audiologists, Speech therapists, and such support alternatives to imprison them or else.
Taxpayer funded cochlear implant companies would give them a glory story by getting Deaf children to become hearing and receive a good life and free Audists for more oppression who are more dangerous to society than anybody.
Time to show compassion for the most put-upon hated minority in American society, the Deaf people. Allow them the respect you would show you win them and welcome them back into the society with open arms! Today is the saddest day in Deaf history, September 11th, 1880 where the Milan Resolution conference changed Deaf people’s lives forever!

As Speechless As You Are
After collecting and reading archived letters from Gallaudet University about EPHPHATHA in my previous blog with 12 different posts, (I could not upload all the images at once, so I had to split different posts and I apologize about that) it is still blurry and very limited information. We the Deaf need to report Audism, language aversion, our language, and our culture. Removing EPHPHATHA will design to empower the Deaf community to prevent these religious “bad omen” or “witch hunt” to heal and minimize the false beliefs and negative feelings that people have about the Deaf. What does Deaf people feel like when they drive by, walk by nor walk around Gallaudet and see EPHPHATHA playing behind the fence? Deaf people on display?
EPHPHATHA is driving Deaf people out of their state of being Deaf and only sees the world of action to make sure that Deaf people do not think and desire their own culture because EPHPHATHA is an everyday influence on Gallaudet’s seal which has a huge power-playing and that is why Deaf people do not talk much about it. Talking about EPHPHATHA is an opportunity for us to learn about ourselves as Deaf people and I think it is very important to know that we need to reclaim our lives back in good conscience. Not only that the term also fragmentize the Deaf community into quattuordecillion pieces.
Deaf people must fight against the religious belief to heal us in order to preserve our language and our culture for future generations. Gallaudet needs to know that every Deaf citizen’s rights to be rooted in the free pursuit of happiness. “Be Thou Opened” has nothing to do with the opening of mind, knowledge, education, learning, whatever, but we must look at the very ORIGIN of the term: healing ears and speech. That is very much hidden message. Every English word always has the ORIGIN meaning of it. We must remember to recognize the origin meaning first. The term itself taught the university how NOT to tolerate diversity.
From one of my favorite books, Cultural Studies in the Future Tense by Lawrence Grossberg wrote “Cultural Studies describes how people’s everyday lives are articulated by and with culture. It investigates how people are empowered and disempowered by the particular structures and forces that organize their everyday lives in contradictory ways and their (everyday) lives are themselves articulated to and by the trajectories of economic, social, cultural, and political power..This is, seeks to understand not only the organization of power, but also the possibilities of survival, struggle, resistance, and change. It takes contestation for granted, not as a reality in every instance, but as an assumption necessary for the existence of critical work, political opposition, and even historical change.”
It is time to make a substantive democracy and work for real change. EPHPHATHA is divided. We, the Deaf people, are united. It is pretty much evident that Audists are holding large claims on Gallaudet’s property, including a fair amount of government debt. President Hurwitz is not the president we need. He is not doing his job. We have to let him ago. We need to get back in shape. It is pretty easy choice when you compare two circus clowns, I. King Jordan and Alan Hurwitz that lie at the drop of their teeth every time they speak, worship only the greed of EPHPHATHA and never tell us what their plans who allows the obstruction of Audism on the Gallaudet seal. Both are members of Alexander Graham Bell Association. No character and heart for the Deaf community at all.
It is time to propose to the Gallaudet administration that it is enough to play mind games with Deaf people’s emotions. We need to get ourselves involved in this hidden term and remove it. Our activism needs to make a loud statement and let them know that our conviction that EPHPHATHA is wrong. Why does Gallaudet fail Deaf people from not succeeding their hearing abilities? Deaf people should not been criticized and their biggest liabilities are to be succeed and get a fair education from Gallaudet without the term wringing their necks around. EPHPHATHA does not contribute to the cultural diversity of this Deaf community and makes us invisible in this world. Removing the term off the seal will bring Deaf people a place of belonging, but if the term is still there, then Deaf people will deny their sense of belonging. Simple.
