Since inauguration day, there has been rallies and protests around the world against Trump. It has been crazy weekend in nation’s capital…but wait, it is not over. It’s only beginning. 100 days of resistance will continue to disagree with Trump’s agenda. In fact, the organizers said that they have planned a HUGE Anti-Trump protest again in nation’s capital. The date: April 15th. It was supposed to be really big.

Although there will be a problem because it is the same day Audism Free America (AFA) is going to host ASL/Deaf Pride to celebrate 200th year in honour of America’s first Deaf education. The last two AFA parades in 2013 and 2015–there has been NONE of media supporting the parade. Not even ONE. The media does not understand the value of respect, especially respecting American Sign Language (ASL). Higher learning and teaching ASL has been always challenging.
Hence, Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing coordinated everything into a blatant lies told to our general society and setting a bad example by creating enormous falsehoods. How can we describe one way which we feel punished and one way in which we feel we punish? The media in nation’s capital is big deal, they will focus a lot more on Anti-Trump protest that day instead of AFA. Why did media did not show any compassion in 2013 and 2015?
Even April 15th has played important history in Deaf community, American School for the Deaf (ASD) opened its doors in 1817, and it is also the day to celebrate National ASL Day. Again, the media thinks it is not important to learn from Deaf people and ASL should be oppressed was beyond my comprehension. We need to bring new light in the ways of thinking about media reprisals as a part of the language and cultural oppression. You know the saying: Once someone is oppressed, he or she learns to become an oppressor.
Even in 2017, Deaf people are still oppressed into nonexistence–the greatest punishment of all. How will we get respect from the media?

The power of journalism is not the same like it used to be today in Deaf community. Exploring different frameworks of journalism analysis, and learning tools to recognize these frameworks, greatly enhanced my reading of journalism texts related to The Daily Moth. I was previously aware that The Daily Moth and its host Alex Abenchuchan made an inappropriate joke about Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump to use Marlee Matlin in his advertisement and mislead the public to make people think that Marlee supports Trump.
Flash news: Marlee had been a stanch supporter of Hillary Clinton before Nyle DiMarco even existed. There was a tweet that Marlee supports Hillary in the beginning of the year. It means….Marlee supports Hillary ever since.
I am also aware that The Daily Moth that the host, consciously, employed its bad journalism in the school of thought, in the public to educate Deaf community and in his journalistic skills. The Daily Moth allowed to make bad judgements in his own values and predispositions and created a self-deception of how The Daily Moth might have employed these things in his own agenda.
I am a daily viewer of The Daily Moth myself, became baffled not only by the vague, rambling journalism styles of how they treat Marlee but also by the exact mocking intended. As each story progressed, the flaws and bad character traits of American society—especially Deaf community became manifest. Almost everyone can remember a bed time story being read to them when they all are humans. Frequently these works of journalism happen to be myth or fairy tale what The Daily Moth did.
We would pick a bed time story because of its many moral lessons and the positive influence the tale can have on our lives. Sometimes the fable uses negative reinforcement and could help to condition Deaf community by what The Daily Moth scares us. The question, did The Daily Moth shows in a passive manner, how to handle issues ranging from love, respect and vanity to discipline, labor and tact?
Every experience impresses strongly upon a maturing intellect, and fairy tales are simple but powerful in the messages. Journalism provokes us to use these stories to teach Deaf community multiple positive lessons about culture and at the same time attempt to develop a humanity in a practical and positive way. These tales are a vital and important tool and are extremely useful in our upbringing. Fairy tales and myths were originally created to reinforce our current culture and highlight the habits and personality of a developing mind.
The Daily Moth lacked a certain continuity that would have allowed the journalism to flow in logical argument that Marlee was a Trump supporter. The mistake that they did was an overdependence upon the journalism honesty or qualities to convey symbolism. The Daily Moth needs to issue a public apology for Marlee Matlin. Will it even happen?

After reading an article called As More Deaf Students Use Cochlear Implants, Indiana Schools Work to Adapt the other day, [I will copy and paste the link below]–“Public schools in Indiana serve about 2,400 students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Of those students a growing number now use cochlear implants” is an act of bullying them into getting cochlear implant or else. There is a person by the name of Ellyn McCall, family liaison at hearing loss advocacy group Hear Indiana said, ““I like to think that it’s not malicious, it’s just that most of these smaller districts don’t have the training and the knowledge to really be able to understand what these kids need”
Ouch! Ouch! Ellyn McCall is forging American Sign Language (ASL) and have them act like HEARING and that is a malicious act. The quality and quantity of cochlear implants in Indiana is a changing world: Hate Crime. Hear Indiana serves under Alexander Graham Bell (AGBell) Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
They are attempting to do social changes as we enter the age of international terrorism, striving to destroy the beautiful meaning of DEAF and effect many generations to come on a global level. There are and will be environmental concerns as we run out of non-renewable resources such as ASL for our innumerable, and often encourage hate crime.
Deaf community are at an economic turning point where ASL is difficult to stabilize, due in part to Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s lies, outsourcing of labor and volatile stock market prices. Changes in this new century will also bring huge breakthroughs in scientific frauds, complete with its own deficit thinking and moral quandaries over Deaf identification and cure them for “tragic diseases” such as the state of being Deaf.
Another problem that is already apparent and will become more so in the near future is the growing population of cochlear implants in the United States and the world, with attempt to destroy Deaf community with sharing of hate crimes, are bound to reach scarcity as we enter this new era, unless we discard our ASL, and adopt a more effectual way of living by replenishing, reducing, and recycling what we use.
Deaf community are as a powerful and educated community need to conjure more ways to defeat hate crime by those Audists today and tomorrow. For the near future in Deaf community, we need to build an optimistic and innovative attitude of preserving ASL and Deaf culture, with reforms regarding the way we deal with those Audists, and the resources we insist on using ASL in abundance and love, when in fact, the democracy is ideally a good and fair system of representation based on facts, it is likely that ASL will always prevail.
That way ASL and Deaf culture will spend and live in harmony with a populous Earth, and it all other inhabitants. The idea is to wide representation of the demographic of ASL that would be required to include all of them and abilities in the interest of fair representation at every social level. A panel of elected Deaf citizens who use ASL for communication, information, and knowledge from all walks of life that were educated enough to understand that cochlear implant is a fraud that would be called upon to make positive statements that ASL would overcome the lies by cochlear implant industries.
It would also unify many of us who feel betrayed, excluded, confused by the current lies “democratic” system in AGBell, in which often they are often completely unsatisfactory to the fact that they will not accept that ASL is a successful language. While I personally have concerns about AGBell funding for cochlear implants, they are responsible for encouraging hate crime against ASL. Despite the article I read above, the threat of Deaf culture is an act of terrorism that would require moral treatment, and human race is truly one constructed of innovation.
Finally, we must look past our fears and realize that we are entering the age of an oppressive community, where we must all do our part in assuring there will be resources left for our future Deaf children, our children’s children and so forth. We must look to ASL and be willing to make the first brave step into uncharted territory, and be willing to pioneer it responsibly, learning from the way we have transformed our Mother Earth, in order to maintain a healthy environment. It is only when we make these realizations that we have a true chance of surviving and overcome hate, and making the most of what the miracles of earth and life-have to offer the beautiful meaning of Deaf culture and…..ASL.
Cochlear implant is the biggest fraud ever. If not, the most malicious ever.

However, I do believe a person that can be rehabilitated and do believe in a form of compassion, Most every person deserves a second chance at some point. We just have to do the best we can to find the ones most deserving. Just because you are a Deaf returning citizen does not automatically mean you will be protected.
If the Deaf community had done their job with the fact to release hatred would definitely get news coverage, I would assume that they have sorted out fact from fiction in regards if a Deaf returning citizen is fit to rejoin society. What is Deaf Returning citizen? It is a positive term to give them a life to heal and empower the society, and to understand what kind of burdens to carry. Deaf Returning citizens have to carry a heavy burden that requires empowerment to make it through what they have faced upon their release. Deaf returning citizens may have a true change of heart and heal.
There are couple of Deaf returning citizens who have potential. They deserve a fresh start and do some good things with their lives when they step in. For all the negative people, naysayers, just remember, the ones who live in Deaf community with hatred, there are also people like myself who believes in second chances.
I am a firm believer that upon release, ex-offenders should be afforded a second chance to become productive citizens by providing rehabilitation and education that will help them join the workforce. Charles B. Rangel
The power of indoctrination, propaganda, and constant mantra of any information without giving you all sides of an issue is dangerous, wrong, and causes extreme harm. It can come from social media starting at an early age before a person has time to learn a wide and broad general knowledge of life. Also, it is the same social media that indoctrinates viewers with one-sided salacious stories without showing both sides of the issue many times.
In the most recent example of the ugliness that passes for national discourse, a Deaf guy who claimed to be an expert as behavior specialist that is not even matured into adult years yet saying that ex-cons should not use social media at all. He is like Rush Limbaugh or Donald Trump who calls them a bad image and should not exist in the society in support of bullying for ignorance and fear. The guy thought it would be an impractical policy for Deaf returning citizens, shouts out at them across America as Deaf returning citizens are allowed to have second chances. “SHUT YOUR MOUTH!” has been threatening the very nature of democracy.
The behaviorist who practices bigotry was larger than Trump’s and when a Deaf returning citizen stands up for something they deal with false hopes and hatred, it is OK to bully them into silence and how much grace and civility they had suffered. It shows that even the highest land of America is not immune to this thread. Hatred, bullying, slander, libel starts with its history of great haters, lack of awareness and efforts to put aside the labels of Deaf returning citizens to suffer, is still vulnerable to this public discourse.
This is unacceptable. I believe the greatest loss for Deaf returning citizens will be if we let this sort of outburst stand. We must not. This guy has no basis for intelligence life. Hate do not win.

If you read some of the blogs and v-logs lately in Deaf community about hate crimes, hate speech, and hate group—AGBell. It is clear that they represent a new, important form of democratic expression. They mark a fundamental shift in power away from public relations dominated by AGBell to AGBell survivors which now empowers the Deaf community. For example, the blogs and v-logs reach places that AGBell as well as its yellow journalism cannot touch today.
AGBell survivors are still alive as metaphors in our lives. It provided us with a vivid illustration of reasons why AGBell is doomed. It is not inconceivable that blogging and v-logging in Deaf community will turn out to be just as important as its founders of their own blogging sites initially supposed. It is really a big deal. The word, “hate” is rightfully true what is happening in Deaf community.
The organization known as Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is now easily a hate group in the making, they are but self-touting, praising themselves as an embracer of American Sign Language (ASL) and its Deaf culture—and a self-conceiting telling how they has now become a spokesperson for Deaf people. There have been many revelations from AGBell about the last 130 years of so-called educational leadership. A great many of damages were done, and Deaf people were hurt.
Many people across the nation had caught up in the idea about Gallaudet University, and that the way Gallaudet University acts is best. With Nyle DiMarco bringing his sidekick, Gallaudet University president, Roberta “Bobbi” Cordano to White House Correspondents Association Dinner last Saturday, April 30th, 2016—it was more than a ripple effect! Within the mainstream media and politics who had been “cyberbullying” Deaf people for years and years where they suffer a form of hate, whether it is based or not. Love conquers over hate.
The world-view which has given direction to Deaf life and I believe that Nyle DiMarco Foundation is changing the direction where it is now. This world-view, especially with the media attacking Deaf community with hatred is now done and gives ASL and Deaf people a sense of belonging of “being at home with ASL” that needs to change the face of Gallaudet University, a sense of fulfillment unknown to academia. After all, the sidekick was a perfect economic opportunity.
Time for action. Any hatred messages spew by AGBell is urgent. We must act, and broad support is needed. We all have the democracy to write letters to Congress. And there is far more to politics than the mainstream of hatred over ASL and Deaf people, more in the margins where hope is most at home.

My name is Jason “JT” Tozier—and I believe in stopping hate and intolerance in Deaf America. My physical condition is Deaf and I am very damn proud of it. When you were asked to give a lecture in South Carolina on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015—making a statement whether you should be good fit for American president. After you made fun of Serge Kovaleski, a disabled reporter for New York Times whom suffers from a congenital joint condition, your IQ has the equivalent of a woodchuck.
Whoever the voters in Deaf America on your side should be ashamed of themselves, you are the face of white supremacy. Not only that, but you also bred hate speech and crime—the home of worst human condition. Your hateful message continues to drive a national environment where oppressing disabled people is acceptable and it is time to end your reign of hate and bigotry. Bless Southern Poverty Law Center [SPLC] for creating Hatewatch.
Deaf people do not view themselves disabled at all. They are in language minority—in other words, Deaf community needs to use this moment to stop the spew your message of hate and indifference to minority suffering. Your paranoia is about severe personality disorder characterized by a constant suspicion that people have sinister motives against an individual. Anyone with this disorder tends to have excessive trust in your own knowledge and abilities and usually avoid close relationships with others.
You usually shift blame to other people and criticizes others. Paranoia is a two-edged sword, both protective and destructive. It drives you to manipulate others so you can control them, especially those close to you, and to control situations. You are a perfect example of white supremacy—representing and serving the American people is more than inappropriate—it is painful, offensive and ultimate insult.
Robert Greenlead coined the term, servant-leadership in 1970, and it is best summarized by Hamilton Beazley in foreword for the book, The Servant Leader Within: A Transformative Path, which reads: “In education, servant-leadership has lead to new pedagogy, new learning, and new organizations devoted to its practice. In all its applications, servant-leadership achieves what is apparently impossible: bringing transformative experiences to the realm of the ordinary, to the everyday events that, cumulatively, define our lives and shape our experiences.”
The media must free itself from the old known. To the media the only freedom lies in the unknown, because whatever is known is past, gone and finished. Enough is enough. It is time for you to hold accountable for this hate-baiting rhetoric once and for all.
