Otherwise, she has to make the choice should she want to live in liberal world.

I know what you mean by that. She should not deal with bullying tactics–and Gallaudet allows that choice to happen. It’s the choice Gallaudet failed to make sure she has every right to practice her freedom of religion, and also failed to protect her safety.
