This month September, it’s the National Deaf Awareness Month. Did you know that I was the first Deaf person ever to sign Anthem in front of crowd for District of Columbia professional soccer team? It is a big deal. Sadly, District of Columbia Deaf community did not recognize this nor Deaf community. It’s heart-breaking. Stigma continues.
